ABOUT THE EVENT
Celebrate the Next Chapter with ETS
Our Story
At Evergreen Treatment Services, our participants write their own stories. Each person’s point of view and recovery experience is different. Through their stories, our participants make one theme perfectly clear: recovery is possible.
As an organization, we’re no strangers to a twist in the plot. From opening doors during the war on drugs to expanding services throughout western Washington, and launching REACH to serve our unhoused neighbors, we’ve evolved our story when and where needed to serve the Puget Sound community.
Now, we’re writing our next chapter of care. To better serve our participants, we’re preparing to transform our Seattle clinic into a health and recovery campus. As we turn the page and bid our current clinic goodbye while looking forward to where our story will lead, we invite you to celebrate and start this new chapter with us.

EMCEES

Tiernan Madorno
Tiernan has been lighting up stages as a professional emcee for the past 5 years. Whether she’s weaving personal connection into a gala program or energizing a crowd during a live auction, her rare blend of charisma, empathy, and precision moves hearts and opens wallets. As a paddle raise host, Tiernan knows how to read a room, rally generosity, and turn mission into momentum. She taps into over two decades of cross-industry experience—from the likes of Microsoft to Discovery Channel and The Kennedy Center—to bring a heartfelt, authentic approach to storytelling that resonates and drives impact. Donors feel connected, seen, and excited to invest. A proud Pacific Northwesterner, Tiernan is a passionate advocate for underrepresented voices, using her platform to champion equality and push for systemic change. She has partnered with nearly 40 nonprofits, schools, and organizations to create moments that spark joy, build community, and leave audiences inspired.

Mark Wright
Mark Wright is a former broadcast journalist and TV news anchor and now hosts the podcast Fat Science with Dr. Emily Cooper. His career in journalism spanned 35 years—starting in Public Radio and ending as evening news anchor for KING 5 in Seattle. Mark is a respected community leader in Seattle and deeply committed to public service. As an event emcee, he’s worked with dozens of non-profits—helping raise millions of dollars. Mark is a longtime friend of ETS, and we are grateful for his continued dedication to our mission.

After seven years as a luncheon fundraiser, ETS welcomed guests to the first-ever Roots of Recovery Gala on May 31, 2025. Watch the full event below!
We came together 371-attendees strong at the Seattle Convention Center’s Summit to celebrate the many ways that ETS participants and staff move mountains for recovery. With the dedication of ETS supporters, we raised $313,972 for evidence-informed treatment for opioid use disorder and street-based outreach.
