Outreach

Outreach begins with connection.

We start all outreach activities by forging trust and building relationships with the people we meet. From these relationships, our outreach team is able to link people with the services and support they need to improve their lives in big and small ways.

While all people living outside face common struggles inherent to homelessness, each person has a different story to tell and a unique set of goals for their future. Our clients are often the victims of discrimination and violence, suffer from mental illness, and struggle with substance use. We tailor our outreach efforts to meet our client’s specific needs, with an understanding of their unique personality and experience.

Though they might vary in their approach, our outreach staff all work toward the same over-arching goal: To show our clients that they deserve dignity and connection, and enable them to access to services that meet their needs – from food, water, and warm clothing, to housing and healthcare.

To learn more about our outreach services, visit the REACH Program website.

REACH is making a difference in the lives of more than 3,000 people in King County. Whether we’re welcoming someone in for a warm meal, accompanying them to an appointment, or helping them with substance use treatment, our work changes lives every day.

All people deserve dignity and respect. Connect with us today.
