Hike for Recovery 2026
Hike for Recovery
This event has already happened. Stay tuned for information about our next ETS event.
Thank you to all who joined us at Squak Mountain for our first-ever Hike for Recovery! To kick off September’s National Recovery Month and to honor people in recovery, ETS organized an interactive, family-friendly, and community-oriented Hike for Recovery! Building on the momentum from ETS’s signature Roots of Recovery Gala, we hosted this casual event that will allow us to get outdoors. Friends and family joined hike participants or supported from afar by pledging their support.
Hikers chose from three different routes, ranging from 2-6 miles. We hope you’ll join us next year!
This year’s hike might be over, but Recovery Month is all September long. Since 1989, we’ve recognized September as a time to share the impact of evidence-based treatment, celebrate those at every step of their lifelong recovery journey, and honor the service providers and community members who support recovery. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has great toolkits and resources to spread the word about Recovery Month. Check it out below!
