Treatment Services offers outpatient treatment for opioid dependence. The clinic uses a comprehensive
approach to therapy which combines medically managed pharmacotherapy (methadone)
with counseling, contingency management, mental health care, acupuncture, and
case management services.
ETS adheres to the
evidence-based model of addiction treatment.
Methadone dose levels are based on
individual need rather than arbitrary,
predetermined limits. Psychosocial
services employ therapeutic techniques
that have been validated in clinical
research.
Clinical attention is
devoted to changing drug using behaviors and
to assisting
patients in embarking on stable,
self-sustaining recoveries.
Psychiatric services, under the direction of
Paul Grekin,
MD, are available for patients suffering
from co-existing mental health disorders.
Treatment is available at
two fixed-site clinics and one mobile clinic
site in the greater Seattle area, and at a fixed-site
clinic in Olympia.
